Stretching from Scutum the Shield through to Scorpius the Scorpion this collaboration between Tom Masterson and Terry Hancock is one of the latest captures from GrandMesaObservatory.com in Western Colorado during the month of June 2018 over three nights using the QHY367C Full Frame CMOS with the Rokinon 135mm F2.0 lens @ F4.0

139 individual frames were captured to make up this 3 panel mosaic of the Central Region of The Milky Way covering 4 constellations and an area of over 35 x 10 degrees of sky, containing 12 Messier objects, many open and globular clusters, dark, reflection and emission nebulae.
